Paula Berry

Soprano Paula Berry has been praised for her "impressive range and control" (Cape Cod Times) and her "especially affecting" (Edmonton Journal) performances. She currently studies at the University of Manitoba with renowned soprano Tracy Dahl. She holds a Masters of Music from McGill University, and a Bachelors of Music from the University of British Columbia. Paula was named a semi-finalist in the prestigious Lotte Lenya Competition in 2019 for her work in both opera and musical theatre. She has also twice been awarded an Encouragement Award at the Metropolitan Opera National Council auditions. Paula has studied at the College Light Opera Company, Opera NUOVA, the Vancouver International Song Institute, the European Music Academy, the International Musik Sommerakademie at the Mozarteum, and Broadway Artists Alliance. Favourite roles include Alcina (Alcina), Adina (L'elisir d'amore), Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus), Rose Maybud (Ruddigore), Irene (Crazy for You) and Donna Lucia d'Alvadorez (Where's Charley). Paula has also lent her voice to the television series My Little Pony, in which she voiced the character "Cherry Crash".
